In Friday's non-league match, the host Manchester Lancers basketball team scored a tight 78-77 triumph over the Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks.
In their next game, the Lancers meet the Richmond City School of the Arts Bulldogs (Richmond, VA) in a Dominion match, on Wednesday, January 10. Manchester will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 0-8 record after their 55-29 league loss to Cosby (Midlothian, VA).
With the defeat, Norfolk Collegiate moves to 12-2 on the year. The Mighty oaks host Severn School (Severna Park, MD) to meet the Admirals in a non-league match on Saturday, December 30.
