Illinois High School Basketball - Rockford Christian can't hold off McHenry

The McHenry Warriors basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Rockford Christian Royal Lions to 64 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Antioch for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. McHenry will battle a Sequoits team coming off a 56-44 non-league win over Wheeling (Wheeling, IL). The Sequoits record now stands at 7-7.

The Royal Lions (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Oregon (Oregon, IL). The Hawks come into the Big Northern contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Oregon was nudged by Ottawa (Ottawa, IL), 72-50, in a non-league contest.
