Georgia High School Basketball - Springwood falls to McIntosh

December 29, 2023: Peachtree City, GA 30269

In Friday's non-league match, the host McIntosh Chiefs basketball team scored a good 56-41 triumph over the Springwood Wildcats.

In their next game, the Chiefs meet the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers (McDonough, GA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 2. McIntosh will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Chargers enter the match with a 11-3 record after their 68-45 non-league win over Stratford Academy (Macon, GA).

With the defeat, Springwood moves to 11-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Lee-Scott Academy (Auburn, AL) to meet the Warriors in a AISA AAA Region 1 match on Friday, January 5. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 10-1. Lee-Scott Academy won 65-64 in their recent non-league match against Abbeville Christian Academy (Abbeville, AL)
