South Grand Prairie Warriors (Grand Prairie, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX), 56-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Grand Prairie upgrades its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Stony Point (Round Rock, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 18-0. Stony Point won 67-49 in their recent non-league bout against Coppell (Coppell, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Keller Indians (Keller, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. McKinney will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 80-73 non-league loss to Stony Point (Round Rock, TX).
