Washington High School Basketball - Steilacoom ripped by Meridian

The Meridian Trojans basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Steilacoom Sentinels to 34 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Squalicum for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Saturday, December 30. Meridian will meet a Storm team coming off a 52-38 non-league win over Centralia (Centralia, WA). The Storm record now stands at 4-5.

The Sentinels (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Centralia (Centralia, WA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Centralia was routed by Squalicum (Bellingham, WA), 52-38, in a non-league contest.
