Connecticut High School Basketball - New Fairfield can't hold off Stamford

The Stamford Black Knights basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host New Fairfield Rebels to 55 in the Black Knights non-league victory on Friday.

The Black Knights now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Joseph for a Fairfield County contest on Friday, January 5. Stamford will battle a Cadets team coming off a 83-62 non-league win over Bassick (Bridgeport, CT). The Cadets record now stands at 3-1.

The Rebels (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Immaculate (Danbury, CT). The Mustangs come into the Southwest contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Immaculate was nudged by Staples (Westport, CT), 64-52, in a non-league contest.
