The New Manchester Jaguar basketball team (Douglasville, GA), was nudged 69-65 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Northgate Vikings (Newnan, GA)
The Vikings now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McIntosh for a AAAAA Region 3 battle on Friday, January 5.
The Jaguar (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Mt. Zion edged Pepperell (Lindale, GA), 66-65, in a non-league battle.
