Massachusetts High School Basketball - Nipmuc Regional edges Oxford

In Friday's non-league outing, the Nipmuc Regional Warriors (Upton, MA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Oxford Pirates (Oxford, MA), by a margin of 69-68.

The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Douglas (Douglas, MA). The Tigers go into the Dual Valley outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Douglas was tipped by Prouty (Spencer, MA), 65-44, in a non-league outing.

The Pirates now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Southbridge for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 3. Oxford will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 37-34 non-league loss to Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-4.
