Valley Christian Academy Lions (Santa Maria, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Nipomo Titans (Nipomo, CA), 70-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valley Christian Academy upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Lions host San Luis Obispo Classical Academy (San Luis Obispo, CA) to clash with the Grizzlies in a Coast Valley bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 7-12. San Luis Obispo Classical Academy lost 81-39 in their recent non-league bout against Nipomo (Nipomo, CA)

Next up, the Titans clash with the Orcutt Academy Spartans (Orcutt, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Nipomo will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 66-58 non-league win over Morro Bay (Morro Bay, CA).
