North Andrew Cardinals (Rosendale, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host West Nodaway Rockets (Burlington Junction, MO), 64-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Andrew upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Pattonsburg (Pattonsburg, MO) to play the Panthers in a Grand River West bout on Friday, January 5. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 6-5. Pattonsburg lost 62-40 in their recent non-league bout against Grundy County/Newtown-Harris (Galt, MO)

Next up, the Rockets play the North Nodaway Mustangs (Hopkins, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. West Nodaway will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record.
