North Carolina High School Basketball - NorthPoint Christian Academy edges Rockwell Christian School

The NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks (Waxhaw, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Rockwell Christian School Chargers (Rockwell, NC), 62-59 in Friday's non-league test.

The NightHawks (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Lee Park Prep got by St. Anne Catholic (Rock Hill, SC), 82-34, in a league test.

The Chargers now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host New Manna Christian for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Rockwell Christian School will encounter a Wind squad coming off a 58-35 non-league win over Matthews Christian Academy (Matthews, NC). The Wind record now stands at 6-2.
