The Valencia Tigers (Placentia, CA) basketball knocked off the host Norwalk Lancers (Norwalk, CA), 55-39 in Friday's non-league test.

The Tigers (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Western (Anaheim, CA). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Western went down by Hillcrest Christian (Thousand Oaks, CA), 68-54, in a non-league test.

The Lancers now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Gahr for a San Gabriel Valley test on Wednesday, January 3. Norwalk will encounter a Gladiators squad coming off a 56-44 non-league loss to Mark Keppel (Alhambra, CA). The Gladiators record now stands at 9-6.
