The Shades Valley Mounties basketball team (Birmingham, AL), was nudged 51-45 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL)
The Stampede now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hillcrest for a 6A Area 6 battle on Friday, January 5.
The Mounties (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL). The Colonels come into the 6A Area 10 battle with a 5-13 record.
