The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Powell County won 66-63 in their recent non-league bout against Somerset (Somerset, KY)

Next up, the Cougars play the Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Somerset Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Briar Jumpers go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 66-63 non-league loss to Powell County (Stanton, KY).
