The Pocahontas Redskins basketball team (Pocahontas, AR), dropped 49-40 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR)

The Bulldogs now possess a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeWitt for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 30. Quitman will battle a Dragons team coming off a 65-47 non-league win over Newport (Newport, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 5-5.

The Redskins (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Blytheville (Blytheville, AR). The Chickasaws come into the 4A Region 3 battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Blytheville dropped by Brookland (Brookland, AR), 58-41, in a non-league battle.
