Puxico Indians (Puxico, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Van Buren Bulldogs (Van Buren, MO), 79-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Puxico upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Clarkton (Clarkton, MO) to play the Reindeer in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Reindeer come into the bout with a record of 3-6.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Summersville Wildcats (Summersville, MO) in a Big Springs bout, on Thursday, January 4. Van Buren will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 86-83 non-league loss to Salem (Salem, MO).
