The Sparta Spartans basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Warren Hills Regional Blue Streaks to 43 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morristown for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Sparta will battle a Colonials team coming off a 83-57 non-league loss to Immaculata (Somerville, NJ). The Colonials record now stands at 2-6.

The Blue Streaks (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Newton (Newton, NJ). The Braves come into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record.
