St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Spring Lake Park Panthers (Spring Lake Park, MN), 71-67 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Michael-Albertville upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Knights host Centennial (Circle Pines, MN) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Centennial won 78-76 in their recent league bout against Forest Lake (Forest Lake, MN)

Next up, the Panthers play the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Spring Lake Park will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 70-43 non-league loss to Horace (Horace, ND).
