The Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC) basketball nipped the visiting St. Joseph's Catholic Knights (Greenville, SC), 47-42 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Landrum (Landrum, SC). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Landrum got by Spartanburg Christian Academy (Spartanburg, SC), 76-33, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 14-1 record. They play next when they travel to Broome for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. St. Joseph's Catholic will encounter a Centurions squad coming off a 71-58 non-league win over Blacksburg (Blacksburg, SC). The Centurions record now stands at 5-6.
