Utah High School Basketball - Valley Christian edges Timpview

The Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ) basketball nipped the host Timpview Thunderbirds (Provo, UT), 63-62 in Friday's non-league test.

The Trojans (13-1) will now prepare for their test against Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Boulder Creek was tipped by Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA), 85-76, in a non-league test.

The Thunderbirds now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Wasatch for a 5A Region 7 test on Wednesday, January 3. Timpview will encounter a Wasps squad coming off a 56-55 non-league win over Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT). The Wasps record now stands at 5-4.
