Merced Bears (Merced, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Bullard Knights (Fresno, CA), 59-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Merced upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Clovis (Clovis, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 11-3.

Next up, the Knights play the Clovis North Broncos (Fresno, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Bullard will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Broncos come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 57-40 non-league loss to Sanger (Sanger, CA).
