River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting 21st Century Charter COUGARS (Gary, IN), 56-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, River Forest upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Ingots travel to Tri-Township (LaCrosse, IN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 14-0. Tri-Township won 49-12 in their recent non-league bout against Attica (Attica, IN)

Next up, the COUGARS play the Lighthouse College Prep Academy Lions (Gary, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. 21st Century Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
