In Friday's non-league outing, the Morrilton Devil Dogs (Morrilton, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Alma Airedales (Alma, AR), by a count of 49-16.
The Devil Dogs (17-1) will now prepare for their outing against Clarksville (Clarksville, AR). The Panthers go into the 4A Region 4 outing with a 3-12 record. In their last outing, Clarksville was crushed by Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR), 58-48, in a league outing.
The Airedales now hold a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Harrison for a 5A West outing on Friday, January 5. Alma will clash with a Goblins squad coming off a 70-50 non-league win over Marshall (Marshall, AR). The Goblins record now stands at 5-5.
