Laurel Highlands Mustangs (Uniontown, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bethlehem Center Bulldogs (Fredericktown, PA), 67-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Laurel Highlands upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA) to clash with the Warriors in a WPIAL 4A 3 bout on Thursday, January 4. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Carmichaels Mighty Mikes (Carmichaels, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Bethlehem Center will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Mighty Mikes go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 53-13 non-league loss to McGuffey (Claysville, PA).
