The Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA) basketball nipped the host Burroughs Burros (Ridgecrest, CA), 53-49 in Friday's non-league test.

The Lancers (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Roosevelt got by Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA), 59-53, in a non-league test.

The Burros now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sierra Pacific for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Burroughs will encounter a Golden Bears squad coming off a 59-53 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 4-10.
