Texas High School Basketball - Brenham trounces Midlothian

The Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Midlothian Panthers (Midlothian, TX), 45-14 in Friday's non-league test.

The Cubs (14-10) will now prepare for their test against Mayde Creek (Houston, TX). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 2-19 record. In their last test, Mayde Creek was trounced by Midway (Waco, TX), 40-27, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 4-17 record. They play next when they travel to Rockwall-Heath for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Midlothian will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 47-39 non-league loss to Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 17-7.
