    • Tennessee High School Basketball - Briarcrest Christian can't hold off Central

    The Central Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Briarcrest Christian Saints to 47 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

    The Tigers now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Duncanville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Central will battle a Panthers and Pantherettes team coming off a 74-49 non-league win over Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Panthers and Pantherettes record now stands at 15-3.

    The Saints (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. Agnes Academy (Memphis, TN). The Stars enter the Division II-AA West contest with a 6-5 record.
