Butler Bulldogs (Augusta, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Greenbrier Wolfpack (Evans, GA), 52-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Butler upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Washington County (Sandersville, GA) to play the Golden Hawks in a AA Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Golden Hawks go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Washington County won 61-32 in their recent non-league bout against Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA)

Next up, the Wolfpack play the Cross Creek Razorbacks (Augusta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Greenbrier will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Razorbacks go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 74-40 non-league win over Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC).
