Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Germantown Academy can't hold off Cardinal O'Hara

The Cardinal O'Hara Lions basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Germantown Academy Patriots to 37 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Little Flower Catholic for Girls for a Philadelphia Catholic contest on Thursday, January 4. Cardinal O'Hara will battle a team coming off a 63-33 non-league win over Thomas A. Edison (Philadelphia, PA). The record now stands at 3-4.

The Patriots (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Academy-Notre Dame De Namur (Villanova, PA). The enter the Inter-Academic contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Academy-Notre Dame De Namur nudged Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE), 66-41, in a non-league contest.
