Vincent Yellow Jackets (Vincent, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cleburne County Tigers (Heflin, AL), 59-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Vincent upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets host Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 1-9. Fayetteville lost 73-23 in their recent non-league bout against Winterboro (Alpine, AL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Weaver Bearcats (Weaver, AL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Cleburne County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Bearcats come into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 40-38 non-league loss to Wadley (Wadley, AL).
