Mayde Creek lost 49-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Lovejoy (Lucas, TX)

Next up, the Longhorns play the Channelview Falcons (Channelview, TX) in a 6A Region III District 22 challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Dobie will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 49-25 non-league loss to Wheatley (Houston, TX).
