With the win, Eastern Randolph upgrades its record to 2-9 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Asheboro (Asheboro, NC) to play the Blue Comets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Blue Comets go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Asheboro lost 41-38 in their recent non-league game against Randleman (Randleman, NC)

With the defeat, Jordan-Matthews moves to 6-5 on the year. The Jets host Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC) to face the Stallions in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina game on Tuesday, January 2. The Stallions enter the game with a record of 7-3. Southeast Alamance lost 49-32 in their recent non-league game against Green Level (Cary, NC)
