The Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) basketball crushed the host Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX), 75-28 in Friday's non-league test.

The Matadors (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Coronado (Lubbock, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 8-12 record. In their last test, Coronado was trounced by Tascosa (Amarillo, TX), 65-36, in a non-league test.

The Rangers now own a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to Snyder for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Greenwood will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 69-39 non-league loss to City View (Wichita Falls, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 8-14.
