Mercy Magic (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Fallston Cougars (Fallston, MD), 47-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mercy upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Magic travel to New Town (Owings Mills, MD) to play the in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The go into the bout with a record of 6-1. New Town won 64-27 in their recent non-league bout against Old Mill (Millersville, MD)

Next up, the Cougars play the Harford Tech Cobras (Bel Air, MD) in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake bout, on Thursday, January 4. Fallston will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Cobras go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 43-27 non-league loss to Indian Creek (Crownsville, MD).
