Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Haddon Township Hawks (Westmont, NJ) and the visiting Holy Cross Lancers (Delran, NJ), saw Haddon Township's basketball squad hold off Holy Cross by a tally of 28-21.

With the victory, Haddon Township improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host Sterling (Somerdale, NJ) to confront the Silver Knights in a Colonial challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Silver Knights come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Sterling won 34-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Seneca (Tabernacle, NJ)

Next up, the Lancers confront the Northern Burlington Greyhounds (Columbus, NJ) in a Burlco - Liberty challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Holy Cross will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.
