The Rebels now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Union for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 2. Hickory Flat will confront a Urchins team coming off a 50-43 non-league win over Oak Hill Academy (West Point, MS). The Urchins record now stands at 10-4.

The Rebels (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Biggersville (Corinth, MS). The Lions come into the 1A Region 1 battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Biggersville edged Ripley (Ripley, MS), 57-55, in a non-league battle.
