In Friday's non-league outing, the Theodore Bobcats (Theodore, AL) basketball squad beat the host Houston Hilltoppers (Houston, MS), by a margin of 55-40.

The Bobcats (9-10) will now prepare for their outing against Blount (Eight Mile, AL). The Leopards go into the 6A Area 1 outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, Blount defeated Picayune (Picayune, MS), 52-46, in a non-league outing.

The Hilltoppers now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Caledonia for a 4A Region 3 outing on Tuesday, January 2. Houston will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 50-33 non-league win over Amory (Amory, MS). The Cavaliers record now stands at 8-3.
