Texas High School Basketball - Merkel trounces Wildorado

The Merkel Badgers (Merkel, TX) basketball crushed the host Wildorado Mustangs (Wildorado, TX), 50-26 in Friday's non-league test.
The Badgers (16-5) will now prepare for their test against Slaton (Slaton, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, Slaton was trounced by Farwell (Farwell, TX), 58-50, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Texline for a 1A Region I District 3 test on Tuesday, January 16.
