Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Minot Magicians (Minot, ND), 60-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wayzata upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Lakeville North won 67-45 in their recent non-league bout against White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN)

Next up, the Magicians play the Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Minot will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Royals go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 80-73 non-league win over Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN).
