    • Minnesota High School Basketball - Monticello thwarts Sauk Rapids-Rice

    December 29, 2023: Monticello, MN 55362

    The Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN), 69-51 in Friday's non-league test.

    The Magic (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Princeton (Princeton, MN). The Tigers go into the AAA Section 5 test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Princeton notched a victory over Big Lake (Big Lake, MN), 80-55, in a league test.

    The Storm now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Dassel-Cokato for a non-league test on Thursday, January 4.
