The Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) basketball crushed the host West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC), 59-25 in Friday's non-league test.
The Granite Bears (2-3) will now prepare for their test against East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, East Surry walloped Reagan (Pfafftown, NC), 49-36, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to North Forsyth for a 2A Mid-State test on Wednesday, January 3. West Stokes will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 44-39 league loss to Reidsville (Reidsville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 3-7.
