Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) and the visiting St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL), saw Neuqua Valley's basketball squad knock off St. Francis by a tally of 60-51.
With the victory, Neuqua Valley improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL) to play the Warriors in a DuPage Valley challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 17-1. Waubonsie Valley won 69-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL)
Next up, the Spartans play the Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. St. Francis will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 44-34 non-league loss to Trinity (River Forest, IL).
