Georgia High School Basketball - Stephens County knocked off by Powdersville

The Powdersville Patriots basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Stephens County Indians to 39 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belton-Honea Path for a AAA Region 2 contest on Friday, January 5.

The Indians (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Rabun County (Tiger, GA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Rabun County ran past Union County (Blairsville, GA), 62-52, in a non-league contest.
