California High School Basketball - Rancho Verde knocked off by Vista Murrieta

December 29, 2023: Moreno Valley, CA 92551

The Vista Murrieta Broncos basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Rancho Verde Mustangs to 51 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Friday.

The Broncos now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Temecula Valley for a Southwestern contest on Tuesday, January 2. Vista Murrieta will battle a Golden Bears team coming off a 65-40 non-league loss to Heritage (Menifee, CA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 10-5.

The Mustangs (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against JW North (Riverside, CA). The Huskies enter the Sunbelt contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, JW North was defeated by Indian Springs (San Bernardino, CA), 38-24, in a non-league contest.
