The S & S Consolidated Rams (Sadler, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Saint Jo Panthers (Saint Jo, TX), 52-38 in Friday's non-league test.
The Rams (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX). The Bearcats go into the 3A Region II District 10 test with a 1-14 record. In their last test, Pilot Point went down by Throckmorton (Throckmorton, TX), 60-17, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 14-8 record. They play next when they host Gold-Burg for a 1A Region III District 22 test on Tuesday, January 2. Saint Jo will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 68-10 league loss to Slidell (Slidell, TX). The Bears record now stands at 0-5.
