Texas High School Basketball - Stony Point tops Second Baptist

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Stony Point Tigers (Round Rock, TX) and the host Second Baptist Eagles (Houston, TX), saw Stony Point's basketball squad knock off Second Baptist by a count of 61-49.

With the victory, Stony Point upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX) to play the Raiders in a 6A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Cedar Ridge won 55-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Legacy School of Sport Sciences Titans (Spring, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Second Baptist will attempt to upgrade on its 14-8 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 68-52 non-league loss to Kinkaid (Houston, TX).
