In Friday's non-league battle, the host Carter Lions soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Patriot Warriors.
The Lions (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Arroyo Valley (San Bernardino, CA). The Hawks go into the Sunkist battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Arroyo Valley nipped San Gorgonio (San Bernardino, CA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
The Warriors (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against La Sierra (Riverside, CA). The Eagles go into the River Valley battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, La Sierra nipped Notre Dame (Riverside, CA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
