In Friday's non-league test, the host Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals ice hockey team scored a good 9-0 win over the Aurora Greenmen.
The Royals (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Clay (Oregon, OH). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 14-1 record. In their last test, Clay topped Avon (Avon, OH), 10-0, in a non-league test.
Next up, the Greenmen encounter the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions (Chardon, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 30. Aurora will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Lions enter the test with a 0-4 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Clay (Oregon, OH).
