The Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA) basketball crushed the host J.I. Burton Black Raiders (Norton, VA), 66-7 in Friday's non-league test.
The Falcons (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Tennessee (Bristol, TN). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Tennessee was trounced by Gate City (Gate City, VA), 57-49, in a non-league test.
The Black Raiders now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Castlewood for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. J.I. Burton will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 44-24 non-league win over Hurley (Hurley, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-2.
