California High School Basketball - Amador can't hold off Colfax

The Colfax Falcons basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Amador Buffaloes to 50 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nevada Union for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Colfax will battle a Miners team coming off a 57-54 non-league win over Del Oro (Loomis, CA). The Miners record now stands at 9-4.

The Buffaloes (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sonora (Sonora, CA). The Wildcats enter the contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Sonora nudged Edison (Stockton, CA), 75-49, in a non-league contest.
